CSiBridge 2017 version 19.2.1

CSiBridge 2017 version 19.2.1
OS: Windows 32/64bit | Language: English | Size: 489 + 513 MB

Computers and Structures, Inc. (CSI), a structural and earthquake engineering software company, has released the 19.2.0 version of Bridge 2017, is specialized analysis and design software tailored for the engineering of bridge systems.

CSiBridge is specialized analysis and design software tailored for the engineering of bridge systems. Suspension, cable-stay, elevated-roadway, and other types of bridge systems may be modeled and designed to suit any one of a variety of purposes, including means for crossing water, linking points between shear terrain, or extending over highway infrastructure. Customized controls and features integrate across a powerful object-based modeling environment to offer an intuitive, practical, and productive computational tool for bridge engineering. Advanced modeling features and sophisticated analysis techniques account for dynamic effects, inelastic behavior, and geometric nonlinearity. Code-based templates streamline the engineering process from model definition through analysis, design optimization, and the generation of comprehensive output reports. CSiBridge is the premier software for bridge engineering.

About Computers and Structures, Inc. Founded in 1975, Computers and Structures, Inc. (CSI) is recognized globally as the pioneering leader in software tools for structural and earthquake engineering. Software from CSI is used by thousands of engineering firms in over 160 countries for the design of major projects, including the Taipei 101 Tower in Taiwan, One World Trade Center in New York, the 2008 Olympics Birds Nest Stadium in Beijing and the cable-stayed Centenario Bridge over the Panama Canal. CSI's software is backed by more than three decades of research and development, making it the trusted choice of sophisticated design professionals everywhere.

CSiBridge 2017 19.2.1 Enhancements:

Version 19.2.1 was released shortly after version 19.2.0 to address a few issues with the v19.2.0 release. For this reason, the Release Notes for version 19.2.0 are also included in this list.

Changes from version 19.2.0 (Released 2017-08-22)

Miscellaneous
Enhancements Implemented
202779 The version number has been changed to v19.2.1 for a new minor release. Models run in v19.2.0 can be opened in v19.2.1 and the results displayed without re-running analysis or design. Likewise, models run in v19.2.1 can be opened in v19.2.0 and results displayed without re-running analysis or design. No results have changed since v19.2.0.
User Interface
Incidents Resolved
202861 An incident was resolved where CSiBridge could terminate when creating a bridge object from a blank model and using the bridge wizard to gradually build up the bridge components and bridge object. Using the quick bridge template did not generate this problem.
Graphics
Incidents Resolved
202585 An incident was resolved in which the display of the analysis model did not show some area elements when area springs were present. This was a graphical issue only and did not affect results.
202643 An incident was resolved where an error message would be given when trying to display bridge object load assigns. This was a display issue only and did not affect results. This issue only affected v19.2.0.
Results Display and Output
Incidents Resolved
202692 An incident was resolved in which analysis results (deformed shape, forces, moments, stresses) were not being displayed in the model windows for load cases that continued from, or used the stiffness of, a previous load case, unless that previous load case was a staged-construction load case. This was a display issue only. Results were not affected, and were still available in the database tables and plot functions. The display of results for load combinations was not affected. Design results were not affected. This error was present only in version 19.2.0.
External Import/Export
Incidents Resolved
201990 An incident was resolved in which an incomplete DXF file was exported for models where links were requested to be exported and there were more links than frames in the model. When there were fewer links than frames the DXF file was completed, but the link labels would have been drawn in the incorrect location.

About CSiBridge. Modeling, analysis and design of bridge structures have been integrated into CSiBridge to create the ultimate in computerized engineering tools. The ease with which all of these tasks can be accomplished makes CSiBridge the most versatile and productive software program available on the market today.
Using CSiBridge, engineers can easily define complex bridge geometries, boundary conditions and load cases. The bridge models are defined parametrically, using terms that are familiar to bridge engineers such as layout lines, spans, bearings, abutments, bents, hinges and post-tensioning. The software creates spine, shell or solid object models that update automatically as the bridge definition parameters are changed.
CSiBridge design allows for quick and easy design and retrofitting of steel and concrete bridges. The parametric modeler allows the user to build simple or complex bridge models and to make changes efficiently while maintaining total control over the design process. Lanes and vehicles can be defined quickly and include width effects. Simple and practical Gantt charts are available to simulate modeling of construction sequences and scheduling.
